• Will a sport coat be too formal?

• Do I have to wear a button-down shirt?

• Can I get away with wearing sweatpants?

• How can I balance professional style and comfort?

MEET MARCO BALDASSARI and Paolo Zuntini, THE CREATIVE DIRECTORs BEHIND ELEVENTY.

MARCO’S IDEA OF RESPONSIBLE, MADE-IN-ITALY FASHION, GAVE RISE TO THE ELEVENTY BRAND IN 2007. WITH CEASELESS RESEARCH INTO TEXTILES AND THE QUEST FOR A STYLE THAT MET CONTEMPORARY DEMANDS, ELEVENTY HAS QUICKLY MADE WAVES IN THE AFFORDABLE LUXURY INDUSTRY.

ITALY HAS A UNIQUE MANUFACTURING HERITAGE, AND IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT IT. ELEVENTY HAS A NETWORK MADE UP OF 100 TAILORS AND ARTISANS SELECTED FROM EVERY REGION IN ITALY — EACH SPECIALIZED IN A PARTICULAR SECTOR OF PRODUCTION. THROUGH STRATEGIC OUTSOURCING OF ITALIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP, ELEVENTY HAS BEEN ABLE TO PROVIDE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ASPIRE TO DRESS WELL - EFFORTLESSLY - ALL THE QUALITY AND EXCELLENCE OF “MADE IN ITALY” WHILE REMAINING ATTAINABLE AND SUSTAINABLE.

THOUGH ELEVENTY IS STAUNCHLY ITALIAN (THE MAJORITY OF IT’S STORES ARE IN EUROPE), THEY ARE JUST STARTING TO EXPLORE THE AMERICAN MARKET — AND IN 2016, CREATED IT’S FIRST U.S. HEADQUARTERS IN NYC.

DISTRIBUTION IS EXCLUSIVE

Retailers like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Neiman Marcus all carry small collections of Eleventy - but the majority of the product available to YOU and your clients through Garmentier is solely provided to us. Many specialty pieces can only be found at top boutiques abroad.

SENSIBILITY + SUSTAINABILITY

The images conjured when thinking about Italian elegance are of beautifully constructed garments, luxurious fabrics, and attention to details that contribute to a style that has been universally admired and the subject of much inspiration and aspiration by up-and-coming fashion designers.

Eleventy is no different, and then again, it is much different from its vaunted competitors. The idea of providing a luxury label, to a public clamoring for it, at reasonable pricing is indeed rare. But rarer still is the idea of introducing sustainability and ethics to its practices.
— Yves Le Sieur, Nobleman Magazine

Eleventy wants to make its products available to a larger number of people who, while choosing quality and style, are still are conscious of their budget. They are at the forefront of sustainable practices, with an unrelenting commitment to do what it can to conserve resources, reduce overall consumption, and optimize its production processes to ensure that generations of customers can enjoy its products—but not at the expense of the environment.

PRICE POINT, ON POINT

We are in a unique position in that we are working with a network of almost 100 factories in Italy that provide us products from just about every sector of the industry, whether it is fabrics, buttons, accessories, etc. This greatly helps in controlling costs, which is also what drives the pricing for our competitors. I would venture to say that you will not find the combination of the kind of quality we have with the prices we offer anywhere else. This is a true commitment at Eleventy, one that we will continue to make for years to come.
— Geoff Schneidermann, President, Eleventy North America

Q: HOW IS ELEVENTY DIFFERENT THAN OTHER GARMENTIER PARTNERS?

A: Eleventy is an amazing Italian brand that we have a long-time relationship with. They have dedicated specific pieces for only GARMENTIER STYLISTS to use, and you cannot get commission on them anywhere else!

Q: WHY IS THERE AN ITEM LIMIT?

A: Due to the nature of the exclusive, limited product selection, we want to ensure that as many items as possible are kept so that we are not taking up inventory that other stylists could be using for their clients.

Q: HOW OFTEN DO YOU “REPLENISH” INVENTORY?

A: We update inventory twice per week, on Mondays and Thursdays. The product selection may expand at any time - but it is first-come, first-serve - so if you have a client you know will love it, be the first to get it out to them before it’s gone! Our success rates with this program will determine how much more product we are able to get for you - the more your clients are loving it, the more styles and variety will become available.

Q: CAN I ADD OTHER ITEMS ONTO an eleventy PULL/APPOINTMENT INVOICE MYSELF?

A: You can add CUSTOM or SERVICE items onto your Pull/Appointment invoice, but not other Ready-to-Wear items, and no “credits” (negative misc. items).

Q: CAN I ADD ITEMS FROM DIFFERENT PARTNERS INTO THE SAME INVOICE?

A: See above - please do not put items from different Garmentier partners onto the same invoice! You may do a pull or send a Style Box from multiple partners to your client simultaneously, but, they cannot be combined into one invoice, and will not be shipped together.

Q: WHY DON’T DISCOUNTS OR PROMOTIONAL SALES APPLY WHEN SHOPPING FROM VARIOUS PARTNERS?

A: Because our partners are providing a free service for Pulls as well as commission, they do not have the margin to pay out commission on sale items - especially when a promotion is going on! We promise we’ll always do our best to give you and your clients the best prices and experiences possible, while being respectful to the needs of our partners.

Q: WHY IS THERE A RESTOCK FEE FOR $0 PULLS?

A: Retailers are losing money every day for restocking clothing that comes back as a full-return - and it’s putting them out of business! In order to maintain great partnerships, it’s our job to ensure we are all carefully curating what’s taken out - and that our service helps, not hurts, all parties.

Q: DO MOST STYLISTS CHARGE THEIR CLIENTS A FEE FOR A PULL/APPOINTMENT SERVICE?

A: We won’t tell you what to do, but if you want our opinion: if it takes you time, it’s a billable service! Shopping online for clients is just as much of an effort as anything else - albeit, a smaller time commitment (which is why we love it!). Yes, you’ll make commission, and that’s great - but you are spending time curating pieces for your clientele. Don’t undervalue your expertise or be afraid to charge for your Pull or Appointment service! As for how much - you’ll know what’s right.
